When seconds matter, being prepared can save a life.
On August 3, 2025, a summer day at the ballpark quickly turned into a life-threatening emergency. This powerful story shares how quick action, community response, and access to an AED made all the difference for Dex and his family. It’s a reminder that cardiac emergencies can happen anywhere — and that anyone can be the one to step in and help.
At First Care Health Center, we are committed to raising awareness about the life-saving impact of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and the importance of knowing how to use them.
Because of the courage of those who acted and the willingness of this family to share their experience, we hope this video inspires others to learn, prepare, and take action when it matters most.
